Inspired by family
Two little dudes sparked one big idea.
I’m Anthony, founder and creative director of Stimeez. I spent my career building brand worlds and creative campaigns for clients, but when my nephews were diagnosed with autism in 2025 I decided to build one much closer to home.
As our family began exploring toys and tools that support regulation and development, I noticed that even though these tools were genuinely useful, they were also often clinical and generic. There were plenty of therapy toys and plenty of character toys, but very few that meaningfully brought those two worlds together.
As a ’90s kid raised on cartoons, collectibles, and offbeat characters, I wanted to create something that could be genuinely useful and genuinely cool: shaped by neurodivergent needs, but full of personality, imagination, and point of view. So I picked up a pencil, connected with experts from the therapy and autism communities, and started building Stimeez.

Stimeez Emotion Explorers are recommended for ages 3 and up. They're designed to grow with children, from imaginative play and sensory exploration in younger kids to more nuanced emotional conversations and character collection as they get older.
Stimeez are durable vinyl figurines—not squishy toys. We chose vinyl so the characters can hold up to everyday play, get tossed in the dishwasher, and remain useful over time. Each one features sculpted surface textures that give kids something tactile to explore without sacrificing durability.
Each set includes six 2.5" Stimeez Emotion Explorer vinyl figurines. Purchasers also receive access to our online Guided Play resource with conversation prompts, activity ideas, and practical ways to encourage emotional exploration at home.
Stimeez Emotion Explorers are intentionally open-ended. Some kids create imaginative stories, while others use the characters to express feelings that are hard to put into words. Caregivers, educators, and therapists can also use them as playful conversation starters. Every set includes free access to our Guided Play resource with simple prompts and ideas to help you get started.
Yes. While Stimeez Emotion Explorers are not intended to function as chew toys, they were intentionally designed with mouth safety in mind. Characters are made from phthalate-free PVC free from BPA or other harmful additives, use minimal paint, and are designed to meet applicable child safety standards. As with any toy, adult supervision is recommended for children who frequently mouth objects.
Stimeez Emotion Explorers are dishwasher-safe! Just toss 'em in the top rack and they're good to go.
